Cecelia Bradley, LCSW
Cecelia Bradley is a counselor specializing in anger management, trauma, and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) counseling. She has many years of experience working with veterans who struggled with PTSD. In addition to individual counseling, Cecelia enjoys providing family counseling. She loves “getting the whole family to sit down” and work through all of the issues they are facing. She also believes in the importance of using family therapy for PTSD clients. Cecelia believes when the spouse or significant other of someone struggling with PTSD is part of the counseling process, it gives her clients better and quicker results.
Early in her career Cecelia worked with mothers, focusing on the many different issues that mothers face. Cecelia has worked with young mothers struggling to figure out routines and parenting skills. She has also worked with mothers of teens who are adjusting to the challenges of raising teenagers.
Cecelia mostly uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) in her counseling sessions. Using CBT helps her clients see the thought and behavior patterns that may be contributing to the problems her clients are currently facing. Cecelia also uses a lot of relaxation methods in her counseling sessions.
