Holly Lee MA, CIT
Holly Lee is a counselor under the supervision of Derek Stricklin. As a counselor, Holly enjoys working with adults in all stages of life. She says that working with clients from different stages of life gives her more insight in different areas of difficulty for other clients.
In structuring her sessions, Holly believes that by offering clients the opportunity to speak, without criticism or judgement, it very often leads to the client being able to recognize causes and remedies for their issues. She says, “We go through different experiences and emotions during a lifetime. Our age and family role will affect those emotions and issues. So many moods and emotions are natural responses, depending on our age and current role. Some are temporary. I like to give clients an opportunity to relate different experiences with similar responses.”
Holly also enjoys working with senior clients, who often bring a broad range of experiences they have had throughout their lifetime to the counseling experience.
Holly mostly uses Person-Centered therapy in her approach to counseling. She believes that no one knows the client better than him/herself.
