Linda Varadachari MA, PLPC
Linda is a counselor under the supervision of Derek Stricklin. She specializes in counseling for individuals who are neurodivergent and have a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Additionally, Linda works with those struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, and other life challenges.
Linda primarily practices from a Client-Centered/Humanistic approach. However, she has extensive training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She describes her counseling style as eclectic or multi-modal, pulling from whatever techniques and skills she feels best serves her client’s individual needs.
In describing her philosophy regarding counseling, Linda says, “I believe that each person is the best expert in their own life and experiences and has the capacity for growth and therapeutic change within themselves. My role, as the counselor, is to create an open, accepting, caring, nonjudgmental and safe environment for the client to explore their feelings, emotions, behaviors, values, strengths, weaknesses, and relationship patterns.” She believes that this exploration can help her clients to have a deeper awareness and understanding about themselves, learn coping skills and strategies, and find positive solutions to life’s challenges.
Linda works at the Fenton office and has afternoon and evening availability.
